 The Procurement and Disposal Unit in Entebbe Municipal Council was established in April 2008 by the Ministry of Public Service following the Government directive to regulate the Procurement and Disposal activities (PPDA REGULATIONS, 2006)

 In line with the Council Mission and Vision, it is envisaged that the Procurement and Disposal Unit would assist in developing and putting systems to guide the procurement and disposal activities as required by Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets regulations so as to facilitate the efficient delivery of services. To achieve this therefore the Procurement and Disposal Unit is making concerted efforts through creating more revenue sources and also pre-qualifying competent service providers for  works and supplies in order to ensure value money.
